To Err Is Human

I did something yesterday I haven’t done in a really long time.
I lost my temper, big time....

----This blog entry has been removed by the author. I got tired of looking back and being reminded of this time that I stumbled. If you want to know what happened, comment and I'll be glad to tell you the story.

  1. You really are looking to get fired aren't you? I thought the lady might have come to your new office and poked you in the eye. Over and over again.

  2. I guess God brought you back down to earth with this experience after getting the nice big new office! Funny stuff! I happens to the best of us. Several lessons learned here for sure! It happens to all of us.

  3. Dear sweet Shawnie. It's a very good sign that you felt bad about this. Some of us use our fingers to do the talking and don't even realize we've done it... no names of course. I'm proud of you for apologizing! That was very noble of you! (I'm pretty sure if I had been in that situation, the lady would have been lucky if that was all I said to her). I love the illustration by the way!

  4. You're a big teddy bear of a man. To see you mad must be scary indeed.

  5. Joseph - No eye poking. But That would have been the only thing that could have made me even madder.

Ben - I'm going to take that as a compliment, even thought I'm not sure that's how you meant it.

  6. I appreciate your transparency.

I also appreciate the visual of you spewing profanity and your head turning red.

  7. I would not recommend this tactic at the next Church Council meeting. Unless of course it was being videoed. Then "f-bombs" away!!

  8. I don't see what the big "f"ing deal is. It's all a bunch of B.S! Just teasing dude. I think you did the right thing in apologizing and letting you co-workers know that your not perfect, just forgiven! I think as professing Christians we are held to a higher standard but in reality we are just like everyone else, we Sin! But we reconize our Sins and transgressions and repent. I think some people just wait for the Christian guy to mess up so they can play gotcha. Just like the Pharisees did with Jesus..Good post!
